The board of Shackerstone Railway Society wishes to thank all our members for their dedication & support and would like to invite all our society members to Market Bosworth Station for an informal evening event on 22nd September from 6pm. The event is for paid-up working and non-working members to attend, please bring your membership card with you.

If you wish to bring your spouse/partner/child, but they are not covered in your membership (ie: joint or family membership), they are welcome to attend but with a £5 charge to cover the cost of the food.

There will be ample time to chat with old friends and make new ones, find out about the future plans of the railway, see the current developments around the Market Bosworth site, explore current volunteer vacancies and maybe even sign up to become a working member. There will be volunteers from all departments of the railway to talk to if you want to find out further details.

A couple of model railway layouts will be on show, along with the 5" demonstration line too.

And finally, to thank you all for your continued support, we are supplying the food too! Fish & chips (& alternatives) are on offer so be sure to place your order below by 18th September (advance-ordering is essential). Drinks will be available to purchase on the night.
