Festive Season

Most of our Santa special trains are now sold out, so book ASAP to avoid disappointment!

We also have our mince pie special trains available to book now which run between Christmas and New Year.

And finally, details of our Festive Afternoon Tea service on 31st December have also been added - limited places available and prebooking for this train is essential.

End of Summer Sale!

As we near the end of the summer holidays, we are offering a new promotion.

Up to 3 children can travel for just £1 each with every Adult ticket purchased. This offer is only valid on running days between 22nd August – 31st August 2023. Click on 'Ticket Office' at the top of this page to book.

Additional children charged at full fare of £7.50. Child tickets are required for those aged 3-15 years old. Children under 3 are free and do not require a ticket.

Due to delayed engineering works south of Market Bosworth, trains planned for Wednesday 26th July have been suspended. Any customer with prebooked tickets will be contacted with regards transfer/refund as applicable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the steam engine lined up to operate the start of this season will now not be joining us as planned. As a result, all services will be either diesel locomotive hauled, or heritage diesel railcar.

In the meantime, we are working hard to source an alternative steam locomotive to join us for our 2023 season.

12/02/2023

Trains return to The Battlefield Line Railway next weekend, with our two class 20 diesel locomotives operating all services on the 18th & 19th. Our bar coach will be in operation for this weekend, with a selection of snacks and drinks on board.

Midweek services (21/22/23rd Feb) will be operated by our heritage diesel railcar and to round the half term break off we hope our guest steam locomotive 7822 will be back with us to operate services on the 25th & 26th.

We are thrilled to announce our 2023 timetable has now been approved and can be found here.

Included this year, in addition to our standard services, are extra Fish & Chip trains, a new model's weekend, pie & mash trains, festive afternoon tea and much more.

​

Tickets for all trains will be added over the coming days so be sure to take a look. Some trains usually sell out very quickly, so don't hang around.
