Trains operate only on dates that are coloured.
Our standard timetables are blue or green, special timetables are red (Santa trains) or yellow (other special event).
Please refer to the relevant timings depending on the colour indicated, along with listed scheduled train type.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE***
Due to over-running engineering works - caused by the continuous wet weather in Jan & Feb, we regret that our train services will only be operating between Shackerstone and Market Bosworth Stations.
No services will operate to/from Shenton Station until further notice.

Standard Ticket Information

​Platform Tickets
Visitors to Shackerstone Station that are not travelling on the train must purchase a platform ticket to gain entry to the site - £1.00 per person

Part Journey Tickets
We have a range of part-journey tickets available, such as one way tickets for those wishing to walk or use the canal as part of their day out. These are only available from our ticket offices on the day of travel.

Shackerstone Railway Society Members
All members of the SRS are entitled to 50% train fare on our standard operating days. Please ring the office to pre-book, or show your membership card on the day of travel to claim your discount.

HRA Passes
All members of the HRA scheme are entitled to 75% off train fare on our standard operating days. Please ring the office to pre-book, or show your membership card on the day of travel to claim your discount.

Railriders Club
Members of the Rail Riders club are entitled to £2 off with a single membership, or £5 off with a family membership on standard operating days. Please ring the office to pre-book, or show your membership card on the day of travel to claim your discount.

"Kids for a Quid" Special Promotion
Where this promotion is shown, up to 3 children (age 3-15) can travel for just £1 each with every full price Adult or Senior ticket purchased only on the dates indicated. Tickets are non-transferable.
These tickets MUST be purchased ONLINE prior to travel.
